Dancing on Water Theatre Company is a not-for-profit company dedicated to developing new Canadian musical and theatre works.
Ottawa is a small market for performance artists and our goal is to be able to provide remuneration to the artists who contribute so much to the richness and culture of this city. In order for the arts scene in the Nation's Capital to thrive, it is important that these talented people be encouraged to stay here, instead of having to move to larger centres like Toronto and Montreal to make a living.
Our dream is to help contribute to the fabric of this city by offering new, challenging, and exciting projects for local artist to work on; and by paying them a reasonable amount for the time and effort that they put in.
